The Promentum ATCA-1000 is a powerful ATCA solution that enables multiple ATCA modules through different PMC configurations – PrPMC | Security (IPSec/SSL) | Storage | I/O PMC | etc. The first configuration of this module is a Quad CPU Server Module. The ATCA-1000 includes a baseboard with four PMC sites with flexible configuration and interconnectivity between them. In addition to the traditional PCI bus | the PMC sites have Gigabit Ethernet and IPMI connectivity. The baseboard features an onboard eight-port Gigabit Ethernet switch that provides layer-2 connectivity to the PMC sites and the base interface (PICMG 3.0). Two of the eight ports are connected to the base interface. PMC sites 1 and 3 have two ports each while sites 2 and 4 have one port each. The ATCA-1000 is fully compliant with the ATCA standard and is designed to be incorporated into High Availability (HA) systems with 99.999% up time. It provides comprehensive management firmware to interface to the shelf manager and functions as a fully managed building block.
